REFAST’s consultants and international associates have diverse specialized knowledge and hands-on experience in the maritime and logistics industry including business development, strategy and planning, supply chain and logistics optimization, port and transport infrastructure assessments and evaluations, private and public sector transaction and bid support assistance, port operational/commercial management and planning advisory, supply chain network analysis, logistics corridor assessment, and market research and forecasting.
REFAST has also worked with public, private and non-profit educational institutions to realize their goals. Refast works with investors that are interested or involved in education and training for the maritime industry. Our consultants have led multiple on-site engagements, met with educators, investors, operators and private-sector industry partners to understand and solve MET problems, scout out markets and lead development from idea inception to execution of strategies.
We combine primary research with analytics and strategy consulting to help clients realize growth opportunities in their MET institutions or in new sectors and geographies. REFAST also assists and supports public sector training and capacity building in maritime and port management. 2017 – REFAST was engaged to provide Technical Support to The Presidential Commission on revamping of the Maritime Academy of Nigeria, Oron.
2008/09 – REFAST was involved in developing a CBA for Ghanaian seafarers including negotiations with ITF under the Maritime Project in Ghana.
2009 – REFAST was engaged to provide support for the re-establishment of the Liberian Maritime Training Institute (LMTI).
